The donation, which was a “demonstration of faith” by the Knights and Ladies, was made to the Very Rev. Fr. Bernard Appiah Adjei, SVD, Cathedral Administrator, at the St. Margaret Mary Parish, Dansoman, on Sunday September 13, 2025.
This significant presentation followed the earlier gift of a Tabernacle to the Cathedral, which was part of the ongoing Silver Jubilee Legacy Project of Council 71 and Court 63, Dansoman.

The Sacred Vessels donated included: a Chalice (20cm) a Ciborium (19cm) a Bowl Paten (8.5cm) and an Intinction (3-Set). There was also a Monstrance and a Handcrafted Classic Boat for Incense.
The US$ 2,192.24 worth items, according to Bro. Nana Kwabena Yeboah Bobie, Grand Knight of Council 71, are essential for the celebration of the Eucharist and the worship life of the Church. “They will serve as treasured tools for consecration, adoration, and incense offerings during liturgical celebrations,” he buttressed.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Grand Knight, assisted by Sis. Pearl Yawson Depkor, Noble Lady of Court 63, expressed joy in giving once again to Donkorkrom, “not only to stand in fraternal solidarity but to strengthen the spiritual life of the Cathedral community”.

Bro. Bobie underpinned that the vessels were not merely objects, but sacred instruments that “draw us closer to the mystery of the Eucharist, deepen our encounter with Christ, and uplift the dignity of our worship”. He added that the gift symbolizes the enduring commitment of Council 71 and Court 63 to supporting the Church in needy and growing missions.
The charitable act, according to him, again emphasizes the mission of the Noble Order of the Knights and Ladies of Marshall, founded in 1926, to embody the values of charity, unity, fraternity, and service in the Church and society.
“Through this gesture, Council 71 and Court 63 not only enrich the liturgical life of the Donkorkrom Cathedral but also reaffirm their pledge to serve Christ and His Church with devotion and love, he underlined.

Fr. Adjei, who had been a one-time serving Priest at the St. Margaret Mary Parish, expressed profound gratitude to Council 71 & Court 63 for their generosity and commitment, assuring them of the prayers of the Donkorkrom faithful.
The donation was presented to the faithful of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, Donkorkrom during the Sunday Mass of September 28, 2025.
